Martin Watts

Martin was the first Westerner to travel to Yong Chun in Fu Jian for training in Yong Chun White Crane Kung Fu. He is the only Westerner to train exclusively this style of White Crane. His travels to study and compare related systems of martial arts have taken him to Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia , Hong Kong and Singapore.

Martin started to study this system of martial arts 13 years ago. In 2004 Martin was encouraged by the head of this lineage Pan Cheng Miao to start teaching the system to other people in the West for martial arts and health.

Martin has taught both classes and open seminars as guest teacher for kung fu, karate and cultural organisations in the UK and Spain.

Martin speaks English, German, Spanish and Chinese. He lives in Mallorca with his family where he splits his time between his kung fu training, computer programming, the beach and his ever expanding family.
